Home / Goni in Style

Goni, or Hessian or burlap is a woven fabric usually made from skin of the jute plantor sisal fibres, or may be combined with other vegetable fibres to make rope, nets, and similar products. This Goni, Hessian or Burlap has a unique texture and color, so KimiBag are interested to make a burlap bag with this.

Indonesia has a lot of land, plants, and the opportunity to make burlap. Unfortunately, this great potential is not much explored, so it is only used as a burlap sack alone. Though this burlap could have more value when processed into crafts, art objects, as well as KimiBag bags do.

It is an opportunity and a challenge. Slowly but surely, KimiBag start adding bags made of jute in the collection. Hopefully this leads to something good, artistic, eco-friendly and of course an alternative style ..
